Epic Books is another amazing digital reading platform with high-quality books from 250+ of the world’s best publishers to develop reading confidence for kids 12 and under. Árvore Do Livros

Avore is an amazing elibrary of literary classics, best sellers, novels, newspapers and magazines from around the world. All titles are in the Portuguese language and support the BNCC (Brazilian National Common Curriculum). Guten News is also provided as a learning platform for our grade 5 students.

Teach Your Monster to Read

For young children in the first stages of learning to read. The game series takes children on a journey through the graphemes; rehearsing recognition, blending and segmenting with each one. Kaboose contains a wealth of literary games for young children to play and is appropriate for children three years of age or older. This site will give students a fun, active, and engaging way to reinforce their grammar, spelling, and vocabulary skills.


Designed to be used during literature circles or guided reading instruction, this site contains the newest books for children of different ages and trivia games/crossword puzzles that go along with the books highlighted on the site. This site is useful to build vocabulary and comprehension.

Reading Rockets

The Reading Rockets project is a collaboration between WETA public television (PBS) and the US Department of Education. It is a literacy resource site for resource for students, parents and teachers which includes author interviews, how to videos, and articles.

Spelling City works on spelling and vocabulary skills. You can enter your own spelling words and play games, test yourself, or learn them. Activities have sound included.
