BOOK FAIR

In April we had our annual book fair! This year our theme was a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the man on the moon and we had many stars here with us! Vitor Cafaggi brought the first book of his trilogy, Monica Laços, which has now become a film, premiering  in July 2019. Ms. Kristy Dempsey gave us an awesome preview of her newest work Papa Put a Man on the Moon. Apart from our fantastic book selection, we also had the special presence of Piggie and Gerald performing for our kids, talking about space with them. Our book parade was the highlight of our fair, where everyone dressed up as their favorite book character showing the community our love for books.  We can’t wait for the 2020 book fair!
