We are the American School of Belo Horizonte, or EABH, as we are known within our community.
Since 1956, EABH has grown into the only World School in Minas Gerais, recognized by the International Baccalaureate (IB). We offer a high-quality, English-primary education to students from around the world, fostering a diverse learning environment grounded in global citizenship, academic excellence, and mutual respect.
Our success is built on a strong partnership between our dedicated faculty and staff and our engaged families. The American School of Belo Horizonte (EABH) is an independent, non-profit association serving students in grades PK-12 in a full day program. EABH offers the American and Brazilian curricula within an international framework accredited by Cognia and the Brazilian Ministry of Education and authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization and CollegeBoard.
