Since 1956, the American School of Belo Horizonte has prepared students for fulfilling lives as global citizens. Our mission has always been fueled by the active engagement and enthusiasm of our parents, teachers, and partners. Together, we have built a unique school where a ‘family spirit’ supports a love for lifelong learning and respect for all.

Our Vision for the Future As EABH evolves and our student body grows, we are committed to ensuring the best possible learning environment for generations to come. The EABH Master Plan was created to transform our educational experience through a combination of well-designed learning spaces, ingenious technology, and thoughtful infrastructure. Since 2019, we have made major investments to modernize our campus, ensuring our facilities evolve alongside our academic excellence.

A Historic Milestone In July 2025, we embarked on the most significant chapter of our Master Plan to date: a transformative R$29 million+ construction initiative. This investment reflects the remarkable growth of our community and positions EABH to serve more families while continuing to provide a world-class education.

As an independent, nonprofit school, we created the EABH Future Program to inspire our community to take part in this historic moment.
