🍃Pre-K students had a wonderful time during their field trip to Paladino, deepening their learning in our Sharing the Planet unit—🐴feeding animals, observing plants, and discovering how we care for the 🌎 world we share.
Throughout the visit, they practiced important skills such as showing kindness and responsibility toward animals, using their observation skills to notice details about plants and habitats, and asking thoughtful questions about nature. They also strengthened their social skills by working together, taking turns, and sharing their ideas with friends and teachers, making the experience both meaningful and joyful.😊

🍃Os alunos do Pre-K aproveitaram a excursão ao Paladino, aprofundando sua aprendizagem na unidade Compartilhando o Planeta — 🐴alimentando animais, observando plantas e descobrindo maneiras de cuidar do 🌎 mundo que compartilhamos.
Ao longo da visita, eles praticaram habilidades importantes, como demonstrar gentileza e responsabilidade com os animais, utilizar suas habilidades de observação para perceber detalhes sobre plantas e habitats, e fazer perguntas curiosas e pertinentes sobre a natureza. Também fortaleceram suas habilidades sociais ao trabalhar em grupo, esperar a sua vez e compartilhar ideias com os colegas e professores, tornando essa experiência ao mesmo tempo significativa e alegre.😊

In recognition of Black Awareness Day (November 20), EABH is engaging in meaningful activities throughout the week to honor Brazil’s rich Afro-Brazilian heritage and reinforce our commitment to respect, empathy, and inclusion.
Across all divisions, students explored the cultural, social, and historical significance of the date.
📚 In US, students researched and wrote thoughtful articles for The Daily Hawk (coming soon at www.thedailyhawk.com).
🎨 In LS, students created posters and participated in a community march celebrating diversity and unity.
📖 In the library, book displays and talks featuring Black authors and stories encouraged students to explore powerful voices from Brazil and around the world.
👊🏿In Grades 3–5, SEL, Library, and BSS classes joined forces to teach about Zumbi dos Palmares and the origins of this important Brazilian celebration.
We invite everyone to reflect with us, honor the stories that shape Brazil’s identity, and celebrate our shared commitment to understanding and inclusion.

Em homenagem ao Dia da Consciência Negra (20 de novembro), a EABH está participando de atividades significativas ao longo da semana, para celebrar a rica herança afro-brasileira e reforçar nosso compromisso com o respeito, a empatia e a inclusão.
Em todos os segmentos, os alunos exploraram a importância cultural, social e histórica da data.
📚 No Upper School, os estudantes pesquisaram e escreveram artigos para o The Daily Hawk (em breve no www.thedailyhawk.com).
🎨 No Lower School, os alunos criaram cartazes e fizeram uma passeata em celebração à diversidade e à união.
📖 Na biblioteca, exposições e conversas sobre autores e obras, protagonizadas por personagens negros, estimularam reflexões sobre vozes importantes do Brasil e do mundo.
👊🏿Nos Grades 3–5, unimos as aulas de Habilidades Socioemocionais, Biblioteca e Estudos Sociais Brasileiros para ensinar sobre Zumbi dos Palmares e as origens desta celebração brasileira.
Convidamos todos a refletirem conosco, valorizando as histórias que moldam a identidade do Brasil e celebrando nosso compromisso com a compreensão e a inclusão.

Our delegates proudly represented EABH at RioMUN 2025 in 📍Rio de Janeiro.
This year’s theme — “Entertaining a Thought Without Agreeing: A Call for Discursive Integrity and Constructive Dissent” — inspired meaningful debates and rich exchanges with students from international schools.

🔹 Junior Security Council
