MESSAGE FROM THE UPPER SCHOOL PRINCIPAL
Welcome to the upper school division at Escola Americana de Belo Horizonte (EABH)!
As you peruse our website, I think you will find that we are a school that embraces our mission of “Empowering compassionate agents for a better future.”
Our upper school consists of our middle school in grades 6-8 and and our high school in grades 9-12. During these years, students have the opportunity to pursue an academically challenging curriculum that includes our International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program (MYP) in grades 6-10, as well as Advanced Placement (AP) options for students in grades 9-12. These programs allow our students to excel in their academic pursuits while being supported by our caring faculty and staff.
In addition to our outstanding academic programs, students at EABH are afforded the opportunity to grow outside of the classroom. Our school offers a wide variety of athletic and activity programs that nurture the development of the whole student. Our EABH Hawks compete locally, nationally, and internationally, which supports our goal of providing a well-rounded education for each and every student.
We are very proud of all of our students and think that when looking at our school, you will find a ‘little bit of magic’ that makes EABH a wonderful community where every person can be their best!
