Welcome to the Upper School Division at Escola Americana de Belo Horizonte (EABH)!
At EABH, we prioritize building meaningful relationships and guiding our students on a journey of academic and personal growth. We are dedicated to preparing them for entry into the world’s most selective university programs and to becoming compassionate, empowered leaders in a global society.
Our upper school comprises both our middle school (grades 6-8) and high school (grades 9-12), where students engage in a rigorous academic program. Our curriculum includes the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program (MYP) for grades 6-10, alongside Advanced Placement (AP) options in high school. These pathways equip students with the intellectual curiosity, critical thinking skills, and resilience needed for success in competitive university environments. This journey is supported by our highly qualified, internationally experienced teaching faculty, who bring a wealth of knowledge and diverse perspectives into the classroom.
Beyond academics, EABH students flourish through diverse athletic and extracurricular programs that cultivate both personal and social development.
