MYP

My name is Marina Lelis, and I am the Middle Years Programme (MYP) Coordinator at the EABH. It is a pleasure to welcome students and families to a programme that places learning, curiosity, and growth at the center of everything we do.

The International Baccalaureate (IB) for MYP is designed to prepare students not only for the next stage of school, but for the world. We understand that learning should be driven by meaningful questions, real-world connections, and opportunities for students to think critically, collaborate, and reflect. Instead of focusing only on answers, we focus on helping students ask better questions and understand why their learning matters.

In our classrooms, students are encouraged to explore ideas across subjects, make connections between different areas of knowledge, and apply what they learn to authentic situations. They develop skills that help them communicate clearly, work effectively with others, manage their time and learning, think critically, and approach challenges with confidence and curiosity.

The MYP supports students in becoming thoughtful, open-minded, and principled individuals – learners who are aware of themselves and respectful of others, and prepared to navigate a complex and changing world.
