From February 24-26, EABH hosted the second annual MINAS MUN – Model United Nations Conference.
We welcomed over 60 participants from 8 different schools: Colégio Santo Antônio, Santo Agostinho (Central and Nova Lima), Loyola, Fundação Torino, Coleguium, Sebrae, and The American School of Brasília.
At the conference, delegates had the opportunity to gain insight into the workings of the United Nations by assuming the roles of international decision makers. All debates were held in English.
Events like MUN are important because they can improve learning through hands-on experience.
Supporting student clubs and student agency through the Minas MUN Conference is one of the many ways EABH lives out its mission of empowering compassionate agents for a better future.
